Open Phoneme, go to the Train tab, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the Apple ID used for the original purchase. If Train stays locked after restoring, email [email protected] with your Apple ID email.
Web purchases are processed by Stripe. Sign in to Phoneme with the same email used at checkout, then tap Restore Purchases. If Train is still locked, email support with your purchase email and we'll verify and restore access manually.
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your account and write "Delete my account." Your Supabase profile, stored preferences, and auth record will be removed. Apple retains iOS transaction records per their own policies.
Email [email protected] to request a copy of your account data. Include the email address on your account.
Include: your device and OS version, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots help, especially for audio playback, purchase flows, or printable export issues.
Is Phoneme free?
The full IPA reference — all 38 English phonemes with audio and articulation cues — is always free, no login required. Train mode (pronunciation drills) is a one-time $4.99 purchase.
Do I need an account?
No. The Reference tab works without any sign-in. An account is only needed if you want to sync your Train Unlock across multiple devices.
Does Phoneme work offline?
Yes. The IPA reference and all audio work offline. Sign-in and purchase flows require a connection.
What data does Phoneme collect?
Anonymous usage events (PostHog), optional auth data if you sign in (Supabase), and purchase records (RevenueCat / Apple). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
